I can't speak for this particular guy, but when I worked in private equity (as an IT guy) even the partners who had staggering amounts money were intensely driven. Just because they were set for life and could afford pretty much anything they wanted (most actually lived more modestly than you'd expect. It wasn't unusual for a partner to drive something like a Camry) didn't mean they stopped trying or caring.

Neither of those got this much attention, and it's not like those were anything WWE was trying to get attention for. WWE wants people to watch garbage like Summer Slam and then acts surprised when funny antics like this get way more attention.
