After the show, some blogger asked him what was going on in that match and Ibushi said he looked confused because he had never been in that type of match and he was trying to hide the pain from stepping on tacks while wearing thin-soled boots.
So, instead of using tacks that might hurt Ibushi's tender feet, the Bucks used gummy bears to mock him for what he said 2 years ago. It's actually kino storytelling if you think about it carefully while on mesculin.
