>>18689555>>18689943I disagree because everything else about these shows was so shit and the Wyatt's never really became the serious threat they needed to be. As the anon who replied said, Ruthless Aggression era is still better. I think we haven't seen an era that good since actually very recent. I would say Cody's 2 year chase as well as the other stories going on in the past few years has been the best WWE programming since all the way back then.
Cena's entire time on top as the face with the exception of only the very first few years has been completely abysmal and wrecked this company hard. I don't even fully blame him for it either. I think he needed a solid heel or a few to work off of but Vince wasn't letting anyone even sniff Cena's starpower was the problem. So instead we got boring shizo turn after turn with guys like Orton and Show, we had factions that were cool like Nexus and Wyatt's but ultimately didn't amount to shit at all and its all thanks to Vince never wanting his golden goose to be vulnerable. Despite the fact Cena lost so much it never truly felt like he ever did lose. Who honestly ever benefited greatly from feuding with him to the point it elevated them to main event level? Punk? Edge? Alberto Del Rio? They never really needed the rub from Cena besides perhaps Del Rio and he's irrelevant to US wrestling today.
>tldrThe Wyatt Family could have been dimes but they are far from it. Shit booking killed the gimmick just like it did practically everything else. The Shield is about the only thing they booked mostly right and that is because their new golden boy, Roman, was being prepped as the next guy.
