>>18694812Controversial take here, maybe, but I'll take it a step further - I expect to see my share of botches in most wrestling these days. They're not really fighting, no one thinks anyone is really fighting, backstage environments are a lot healthier than they were in the past where people *really* don't want to hurt each other whereas in the past they wouldn't have had a problem with it... so wrestlers are super careful in ways they wouldn't have been in the past and it's a little less realistic as a result.
I've just come to accept it because, really, I'm not watching pro-wrestling for hyperrealistic death fighting but for fun. And I don't want them to hurt each other.
Agreed that Mayu is the queen of recovering from botches.
