i went to an NWA taping the other night and Based Big Tunes Billy was handing out money to get the crowd to cheer louder for the show

supposedly it’s because as he is wandering around during the show he doesnt want to be recognized and doesnt want the show to be about him. like he wont do pictures with fans or autographs or anything during NWA shows either

they’re really not necessary. there was so little ppl there they had to remove a couple rows of steel chairs. and still the underneath talent had to come out and sit in the crowd when they weren’t wrestling to fill it out. and a lot of the crowd that was there was in some way related to the talent. like Mike Mondo’s wife and even Billy’s wife and kids

also barricades wouldnt fit. a few guys did dives outside of the ring and they were already bumping into the front row. it was funny tho that ppl would just walk through an outside of the ring brawl to go take a piss

The NWA has no actual names. EC3, Murdoch, and Rhyno? Really Big Tunes. Besides Thrillbilly. Their homegrown talent isn't much better.

they also have Aaron Stevens (the former Sandow). Rhyno wasnt even there at the lastest taping so he may be gone now. the guy who was presented as the biggest name, and who was in the main event, was Pope. i didnt bother taking a pic of him tho. their top guy is undoubtedly Thom Latimer. he has a look, can talk, and has good matches. and Thrillbilly is doing really good shit too. but that’s about it for the men. i was mainly there to see Kylie Paige’s ass irl

You're silly, the NWA has all kinds of great talent. And virtually all the actual "names" are fucking retired at this point, the average person has no idea who Seth Rollins or MJF are. Don't sit here and pretend like the big two have a bunch of megastars because they have very few and most of them are old. NWA is building new talent and creating a future for traditional wrestling, which is exactly what they should be doing.

nah, i didn’t get any money. specifically what happened was he said whoever cheers the loudest during the last 3 macthes gets $100. and then he came out after the show and teased who he was going to give it to. he almost carnied us and gave the hundo to his son, but then he gave it to some woman in the front row. EC3 matched his offer and gave a hundred dollar bill to a different woman in the front. not sure why you think i’m unhappy. i had a great time. can’t wait til they come back
