Almost the entirety of the 80s Hulkamania run. Be it the squash matches or the big mainevents. Even stuff like the Zeus matches are worth watching in the same sense a Jerry Lawler or Bill Dundee retrospective is not complete without watching them carry a dentist or high school principal at a charity show.
WCW gets a bit more spotty especially if the finish of a match strongly effects your enjoyment. But the Goldberg and Luger matches, and anything with DDP, even the celebrity matches.
That said it’s important to remember that these matches are cookies, and you need a steady diet of 80s territory wrestling, 80e and 90s all Japan, men and women, 80s new Japan, select matches from Dragon Gate and the initial 2000s indie boom and the first decade of Noah and all the John Cena ppv mainevents. A Hogan match can be a nice treat between all of this but you’re going to become a sick person if you only watch modern wrestling and hogan matches.
