Bullshit, it was Tony's fault. Ariel asked the question everyone wanted an answer for, and Tony wouldn't even elaborate on WHY he shouldn't talk about it. His handling of the situation was poor and unprofessional.

You can appreciate that Tony was likely advised to not disclose any information. But he shot himself in the foot but not feeding for Ariel and being assertive in what he can and can't talk about. Just dodging the question simply makes the situation worse. Tony can't handle conflict its a common theme with him.

I think even the vast majority of edrones would understand TK not answering questions that legal advised him not to answer, but Ariel was asking him simple questions about how he felt, stuff that if he was competent, he could have answered without causing issues.

Honestly, Tony had a grudge against Helwani from before then, so I wouldn't be surprised if he went into the interview with the hopes of somehow causing an incident that would make Helwani look bad (at least, to TK's most sycophantic twitter followers/strongest soldiers).
