In 2015 back when NXT tours were new, they booked one here because it went up against a ROH PPV down the road. Only ticket options were either GA SRO or “VIP” to get a guaranteed seat. The VIP ticket ended up being that they took us into the arena kitchen and had us meet Bull Dempsey. It was so hilariously awkward.

Whenever I'd see him on house shows he would usually wind up being the most over guy. He was really good at playing to the crowd and being entertaining but modern wrestling is about playing to a camera. He was also a victim of having a gimmick and not being a smark workrate goof at a time where Gaytch was shoving Undisputrd KWAB down everyone's throats and causing NXT to lose to fucking AEW. I think if they'd kept him into the 2.0/White and Gold era they could have found something for him though. He got released right before the switch over.
