Paul can SOMETIMES tap into it (they should honestly get Shawn to do the segments more) but Paul is also the type of guy who tows the company line trying to "present the product well" instead of actually doing anything super fun with it or doing it how HE wants to (which vince always did).
I think the only relatively creative or funny thing they've done recently was the Prime Bottle mascot (they ran that into the ground) and the Slim Jim car. The Knuckles one too was mainly an NXT thing with Peacock and it was so stupid it kinda worked, so props to Shawn.
Vince had some absolutely shit ideas because he was free to do the sponsorship stuff in his own way. There was that guest host RAW period where it was straight terrible shilling though. You can go watch back that period of RAW and if you thought the matches were bad just wait till you see the shilling build-up. EVEN then, the episode of RAW I picked out had Monster Hunter Tri as a sponsor, which was funny but probably pretty fitting.
It's easy to forget that WWE has been sponsored by video games and regularly had like monthly sponsors up till maybe 2017?
Even Battleborn had a slot on RAW, I remember watching RAW live on /asp/ and there was Battleborn commercials on break AND in the show.
