The rats were found in crappy poor towns with chubby women who had nothing else going on. Simple and plain. No internet, barely any TV. I like Cornette, but you have to understand a number of nuances that he refuses to mention in order to make himself seem credible.

He's talking about shitty places that might have like one stacy and there was nothing else to do because nobody there had cable anyway. Even money wise, he said a guy would make a good living, but most honestly didn't and had to do other jobs. Cornette is a rare case because he was born into a rich family. He never really worried about money and was in it for fun.

Cos nobody knew who his parents really were. Only real dirtsheet was Meltzer and he was too busy making fun of the Von Erichs and Junkfood Dog to talk about Cornette's real life. Everybody thought he had a insanely rich mother and nobody questioned it. The IWC didn't exist cos no internet. You had to be there. I was a teenager during the last territory years and, the rats for Continental and JCP were mostly borderline jailbait cute girls who couldn't afford or get their parents to drop them off at a Motley Crue or Poison concert. And our parents wondered why me and a couple for friends wanted to get into rasslin when we were 16. We paid attention to the crowd and where the girls were hanging out at the end of the shows. Unfortunately all the territories except Memphis died by time we graduated from high school & only real option to get in was Jody Hamilton's Deep South territory in West GA. Pretty girls in GA but me and one friend went to college and the other worked for his dad instead of working Columbus, GA.
