MJF mostly does good television.
Page, clearly wants to work as few dates possible so when he has a scheduled match it feels like a big deal.
Kenny, clearly regrets helping found AEW and wishes he was still in Japan also probably has less the 10 singles matches in him before he retires, so any appearance feels special.
Darby has a unique charisma and views wrestling as just small part of his broader stunts portfolio. So again when he shows up it feels special.
I think Osprey is pretty good but if they don't pull the trigger on making him the guy people will probably lose interest.
I think the Hurt Syndicate could have been draws. Let them dominate the tag division on television. Off television lean into the rumors that they don't want to job. Good heat and then when you have a young tag team actually worth a shit they can get a big win. But that ball has been fumbled.
And then you have guys like OC and the bucks, which draw an audience, their audience, but ultimately run off more people than they bring in.
