>Liv Morgan knows all about missing time due to an injury. She spent the last six months of 2023 on the injured list after dislocating her shoulder, tearing her rotator cuff, labrum, and bicep.
>“It hurt so bad I couldn’t even feel the pain,” said Morgan. “It was overwhelming. My shoulder was physically lower than where it should be. I believe in divine timing and I trust the universe. Coming out of that injury on the other side, and now with this one, this is how and when it is supposed to be. I know what the climb back is going to be. I know what it involves. And I know what awaits me at the other end. And because of that, I'm facing it so much better than I did before."

>"It wasn’t until my first injury, coming back from that, where I went from like, ‘I’m lucky to be here’ to ‘I’m that bitch,’” Morgan stated. “I don’t know what that switch was. I think that was my big realization in my time off. For the last 10 years of my life, I’ve been Liv Morgan. Those are my formative, growing, stepping into my womanhood years. I had been so fixated on what I was doing in my career that I don’t think I paid enough attention to myself, my wants, my needs, my hobbies, my interests, my likes, my dislikes. It wasn’t until I had those months off where I only had to be myself, and I fell back in love with wrestling, and I realized, this is all I've ever wanted to do, all I've ever dreamed of."

I stuck it out because I really believed in it, I believed in myself, and when I got the opportunity, because of the time and attention to my craft, I ran with it, and had the best year of my life.
