>>18931985WWE being dogshit right now is unfortunately exaggerated beyond measure because it's not nearly as bad as 2019, just completely underwhelming after a strong year
Yeah price hikes, etc. people will pirate, tune out or pay up but they won't switch to AEW for that
2010s WWE was a decadent lolcow company that was actively fucking up its talent recruitment and formation. Nobody was getting over after 2014-15, people left in disgust, Vince was going senile and running wild and very few true solid talent escaped unscathed
Now the main event scene is boring as shit and there are a few wrestlers with potential that aren't featured prominently enough sure
but for the first time since the late 90s, WWE isn't actively burying anybody, making them do retarded degrading shit that makes their fans tune out.
They bring outside talent and don't repackage them, they let them do their shit, work with it, and keep them around and actively push them if they get over.
It's boring but not enough to push anybody towards AEW, especially when AEW is completely in the gutter, its star power buried or injured, the booking being erratic and incomprehensible and generally the show being a cheap imitation of WWE visually with none of the appeal.
