He was kind of a joke among Jap fans for a long time as being a lame Four Pillars cosplay act but he left, then came back and really did become NOAH's veteran pillar and more or less carried the company during the covid shit. By the time crowds were back though he was sawdusted and has been out injured more often than he's been around the last 3ish years.
I assume he either goes to AJPW or more likely freelances so he really only has to worry about working when he's healthy. He did wrestle in ROH in the 2000s off and on so I assume Tony brings him in for a dream match against some other old ROH guy like he always fucking does because 2000s ROH is his all time favorite promotion.
