>>18991437kayfabe: fatal influence was a mean girls heel stable they assembled in the lead up to the swap to the CW; it was basically like the high school bitch clique from any CW teen drama but in a wrestling ring. the group was fallon henley and jacy jayne, who came from indie backgrounds before NXT, and their gimmick was that they hated all the NIL athletes stinking up the joint, so they recruited one anyway who was deferential to them, jazmyn nyx. this indie/athlete thing was dropped quickly. but that's relevant to that webm. there were rumors that cora jade (left) and roxanne perez (next to nyx), girls who also came from indie backgrounds, were bullying athlete girls like nyx because they weren't "passionate" enough. fallon and jacy, as indie girls, would be allowed into this bully gang, presumably, and people thought they decided to wear sunglasses for this scene but not tell jazmyn to fuck with her. jazmyn was mostly a pin eater and third body for tags until they introduced lainey reid to the dynamic, who attacked jazmyn backstage and helped jacy retain against lola vice, so they kicked jazmyn out and replaced her with lainey.
shoot: nyx was a genuine athlete and not a mark so she wasn't about """"the grind"""". she didn't want to re-sign for the peanuts NXT pays (less than 80k she said) and mentioned having to turn down opportunities to make money (not onlyfans apparently, she said won't open one) outside of WWE because the fed wouldn't let her take them. realistically, though she was improving fast, she would have been in NXT for probably like 2-3 more years at minimum, and she's already had like 3 knee surgeries, so she just said fuck it and bailed. but she said she grew to like wrestling and would be open to wrestling outside of the WWE. so this might not be the last we see of her. tony... you know what to do.
