HHH wanted him and TK made the mistake of overpaying for him. The guy is a very good in-ring wrestler but for whatever reason, he can't get over with a jetpack and a hot air balloon.

TK still sees something in him that the audience obviously does not. I'd almost like to see him go to RoH, try a couple of gimmicks out and see what might stick, if nothing does, TK probably should just cut his losses at that point.

This would make a ton of sense and probably be best for all parties. The NJPW fans absolutely loved Scapegoat Jack Perry when Tony shipped him out of the US until the heat died down.

I don't think modern wrestlers have the desire to get better or go on long excursions. With AEW you've got Tony who will overpay you no matter what. With WWE you've got a bunch of geeks who are happy to be there. Both get paid, both are probably on the road a few days a week.. why go to Japan for 6-12 months to get better when you're getting pushed on TV anyway?
