He's only had it since Summerslam but yes, he has no heels to face. They even killed off the Drew stuff by having him win clean. Its why Cody and Drew were reportedly pushing for Drew to win the title, it would give the rest of the year some juice.

Then again Cody is everything Punk tells everyone he is and did the Punk journey of going to other promotions and even started one. He actually bet on himself and won.

I wonder what this makes Seth. He’s certainly a mirror now that I see this picture but I dont know what aspect of punk he has that makes even him a better CM punk. It’s definitely there though. I don’t watch enough WWE to see it.

The WHC should be the "toss it around and try shit out" belt, going on guys like LA and Fatu just to make it unpredictable but incredibly gaytch is so boring it just goes into a holding pattern and has spent about 50% of it's existence on seth

This is a world title with no real stability.
The WHC needs long reigns right now, not hot shots. Seth unironically should have never dropped the belt. failing that, GUNTHER should still be champion. Whatever the case here we are.

The WWE can be the hot shot belt while the WHC builds. The WHC should have main evented every single show for like 1 or 2 years. This is what they did with the WHC over 20 years ago.

Yeah, as much as I don't think Seth's run is anything close to the quality of him having his worked crippled run first time around and that year all together, I don't think he should lose the titles in less than a year, if not for his sake then Sneed and Brreakkers. Those two need a bit more buffing as well as Heyman.

the cena reign was basically non-canon other than getting his title count up so cody has essentially had the belt since he took it off roman in a singular though interrupted reign; he has gone over every top heel on the roster in this time
maybe the only other thing they could have done was keep jacob fatu heel and push him up the card to fight cody but cody still would have gone over - in fact i think they didn’t do this because the crowd might’ve gotten behind fatu

i think trying a heel cena on the way out the door was worth a shot but dwaynetty completely tanked it intentionally and it ended up worse than it could have been, but if they never went that route, it is likely WHC cena (with a longer title reign) would have happened
