I saw her in Marigold and Evolve and wasn't impressed. It seemed like she only got those chances because of her looks, because she didn't stand out anywhere else.

I think she's foolish for leaving. There's no other promotion who is going to try and develop her like WWE was going to do. She's going to be expected to be a finished product on various indy shows, and she's not.

I think you're right. She's unusually pretty for a wrestler but she's nothing special when it comes to in-ring ability or promo ability. WWE developmental probably was the best spot for her.

NXT is a national TV show where it's second most important champion is the champ for all of North America. They don't put anyone on there that already doesn't have a certain level of "development". Each MLB baseball team has 4 levels and then a rookie league and a lot of the players had 4 college years on top of that. Evolve on Tubi suppose to be like minor league all stars or something.

I think the issue they run into is that the NXT house shows are likely money losers or don't make a ton of profit. WWE ID is a good deal for them because then other people run through the trouble of running the shows, they just supply talent.

it's a huge fumble to have not hired the entire vanity project stable by now for regular NXT
i know someone in the board room went "well then we won't have any draws for evolve" in the same way that NXT talents are held back from going up sometimes for the sake of numbers, but that line of thinking has to end somewhere
