Except they got taken to wrestler's court over this and it was deemed to be nothing and they even joked about it with the other wrestlers themselves
Also yes anon. E&C era Edge and Christian being friends with Brian Gewirtz is totally what got them onto every show and the careers they would both eventually have across the next 25+ years

They had successful careers off of the fact that they they were friends with a writer and they got on TV as a result. You can't get over without having someone behind you giving you a push in wrestling no matter how talented you are
