What's the ideal age for a wrestler?
Like, can a guy in his 20's have any chance to become a big star?
How old is too old to still be in developmental?
fuck it, can a man in his 40's start as a wrestler and make it somewhat big?

30s seems to be when most guys seem to start solidifying into fully rounded wrestlers

sure.

probably your late 30s? at the point you might as well either go for broke or give up. learning to do forward rolls isnt gonna help you. get a crash course in the basics from some old wrestler and try to fill in the rest on shows

DDP did this but he was in the periphery for years and also a yoga addict so hes somewhat unique

I think your 30s to mid-40s are your prime years as a wrestler and when you are meant to break out from the pack. You can certainly get over as a younger talent but you are capped out as a character at a certain point and a large part of the audience will be less willing to give you a chance. Wrestling fans tend to get behind older wrestlers with some grit more than the young blue chipper and it's harder to get onboard with a gimmick you are less familiar with even as a heel.

I find wrestling schools these days so depressing. They all have move crash pads to practice flips than they do students over 5'10".
