yep and probably the first time we'll see an NWA Powerrr episode that was held in the New York City metropolitan area. Also, heard Samhain 3 gone good this past Friday. OVW and JCW star Haley J was on it as well.

Starting off strong with a match for the NWA Jr heavyweight championship between Rich Swann and Alex Taylor of the Southern Six. Fun fact: The NWA Jr title was one of the 8 belts included in the J-crown, which means it was one of the belts that Ultimo Dragon brought on Nitro back in the day.

oh Samhain had a lot for any fan to look forward to this past Friday to be honest. Can't spoil it as it'll be airing as part of Powerrr in 2 months (fuck that can be complicated). Just honestly wish that the NWA would return to the PPV format and maybe air their special shows live on the Wrestling Central channel on Roku.

Honestly, I definitely love it when the NWA goes all out for these shows to find talent representing multiple promotions. Fuck, his next match after this show was the Call Your Shot gauntlet at the Bound For Glory PPV.

Last time I checked, Cornette resigned. Nobody fired him. Corgan has never buried him in any way to my knowledge, and I have never heard Cornette bury Billy or the NWA either. You're working yourself.

I agree with you completely on that last part, but think about when this happened. this was basically at the height of the whole cancel culture thing. motherfuckers were out for blood and the fallout from that shit could have destroyed the NWA. True though unfortunately I don't have access to Joe Cazana Promotions' latest show (Terror-Tory). They usually air new episodes on Thursday nights on YouTube before TNA Impact, JCW Lunacy, and OVW Rise and are usually half an hour long.

That's highly likely. Some of the territories often have their own schools attached to them as well. World League Wrestling and Exodus Pro both have wrestling schools.

True. Honestly, there's a few pro-territory purists out there but to be honest here, a modern territory system has to adapt to changing times. More people are watching pro wrestling online and a lot of territories have made the switch. Even indie promotions have made the switch as well. Though honestly, one of my main issues with the NWA is mainly the fact that they rarely bring their main shows to the markets these territories are in. I'm not saying ignore major markets like New York City, Philadelphia, Tampa, Dallas, Atlanta, etc. but honestly, they need to at least book a few main roster shows in the markets the territories are in. Like for example a return to St. Louis or Knoxville.

well I think they're trying to do that, but the problem is that a lot of these little territory feds don't have that much content available online. JCP and Exodus Pro have plenty, as does the Santa Fe territory but a lot of the others need to step it up in that department. It's legit hard to find some of these shows even if you're willing to look for them. If I were in Corgan's place I would try to get all of them running weekly shows on either youtube or some other big platform. Like you said most people are watching online so they need to be able to find this shit. And yeah I particularly wish they'd run more shows in tennessee because they have two territories running shows there so it would make a lot of sense.
