Was she that confident that AEW would sign her or something? Feels like a lot of Japanese talent get overly confident in AEW picking them up only to hit a wall. I don't think they've realized yet Tony only cares about NJPW and Stardom talent. Takeshita was an exception because by Tony's admission he only signed Takeshita to appease Kenny then ended up surprised how good Takeshita really is.
