It worked tho. Main event was dimes and the middle/low card always featured with solid matches. People had character. Show was believable and entertaining.

Sure his '02-'04 shoot run was stupid but he gave a decade of heart to Impact. Got them the Spike deal. Brought increasing ratings while keeping the core fanbase satisfied.
