I used to live near Rockstar Spud. One time I was at the local Tesco self checkout and he was at the till near mine. This was the first time I had the opportunity to say I'm a fan. So I quickly said that I hate to bother him but I am a fan and think it's cool he's representing our city on international TV. He was polite and said thank you and I was satisfied enough to not bother him much more. I went to pay but my card wasn't working. I was only buying a Terry's Chocolate Orange, 6 pack of Stella and some fresh Basil iirc, and he said he'd cover it for me and I was floored. He tapped his card but then because he had just used it a minute before or something it asked for a pin and he didn't know it. He looked for his wife but she was already in the car. So I told him it's ok, I'll just come back later and he apologised. After I thanked him for his gesture anyway, he said "nae bother pal" in a strange scottish accent. He walked away really quickly and almost bumped into a battery recycling bin and he looked back kind of embarassed. I then saw him walk out of the car park onto the main road so idk where his wife went.
