>>19160649Jericho beat Austin/Rock because someone needed to job to HHH at Mania and those two wouldn’t do it. It actually hurt the HHH face comeback run having a subpar opponent and wasted the only time he was ever legit over on his own in a natural way. Jericho slid down the card at an alarming speed and that run did nothing for him in the long run. It was the most stacked time period in the history of Wrestling.
Bron Breakker is not Cena. It takes two seconds to figure this out. He’s got something but he doesn’t have IT.
Taker trading the belt with Hogan for a few days prolly did nothing either. He was already getting a push and winning the belt with interference when he’s supposed to be a monster and losing it a few days later wasn’t a good look. It only happened because Hogan wouldn’t drop the belt to Flair so they had the commissioner strip the belt and give it to the Rumble Winner.
I get you’re trying to show examples but these aren’t great. Pointing to Cena’s rise (or Brock, The Rock, Goldberg) just goes to point out what Bronn is lacking. He just doesn’t have IT. There’s guys they waited too long to pull the trigger on like RVD but even that isn’t the same.
