that's part of the gimmick, the idea is that each one is badass enough to count for two. It is kind of confusing at first but i think that's deliberate. James Storm was in the Southern Six at one time but I guess he left.

now we got the main event (i think). Aron Stevens and Carson Drake Vs EC3 and Pretty Boy Smooth. We haven't seen Aron Stevens wrestle since that somewhat lame cinematic match with Thom Latimer, but I have high hopes for this one.

yeah there's a little bit of a story behind this one. stevens wants to be drake's manager, but drake doesn't entirely trust him so this match is kind of like aron stevens' chance to prove his loyalty.

One thing i like is that all these matches look like oldschool matches, I'm not seeing the kind of flippy dippy gymnastic routine bullshit that so many indies have. If kayfabe weren't completely dead, these would all be pretty believable matches.

Fun Fact: The longest-reigning NWA Jr heavyweight champion was Danny Hodge, a legit amateur wrestler who would often crush apples with one hand for demonstrations. He said that he could do this because of having double tendons in his hands. Apparently there was also an incident in 1960 where Danny Hodge's father rushed the ring and stabbed Hodge's opponent pretty severely. This one actually did result in an arrest and jail time so it probably wasn't kayfabe.
