Vince’s biggest mistake (besides the rapey sex) was he went public 25 years go. He honestly thought, as a supposed genius businessman, that he could use company money to pay women hush money.
If he had paid it with his own money, I can see this whole situation being far less serious for him. He might even still have a small role in the company.
But to the shareholders/board of directors, he basically stole from them to pay women.
And now it’s coming out that Vince misled shareholders/the board about the selling of WWE to TKO. It looks like shareholders could have gotten a better deal from a larger bidder (rumored to be Saudi Arabia), but Vince went with TKO because they promised him a board position. So Vince potentially cost shareholders millions of dollars because of his own ego.
