A few years back, like 2019, I went to a local indie show in my area (APW). And one of the matches was Jungle Boy (pre-AEW) vs. Bryan Alvarez and I remember thinking "Isn't that the dude that does a show with Uncle Dave?" And sure enough it is him! I had no idea he was even a wrestler he was decent really nothing spectacular.

Even then I think that could work with the right person in the role. It doesn't work with Ava tough because she's your typical vacant zoomer charisma vacuum. It probably would work better with someone like Robert Stone who's already kind of a dweeby pushover and isn't a charisma vacuum.
