I'm aware. This isn't the defense you think it is. He's been in AEW off and on for the better part of 3 years now and the best they can position him is one of AEW's 13 midcard belts. The man is a world champion. He's a main event guy. AEW has seemingly done everything possible to keep him below that status and viewed as Kenny's old rival at best. In that regard I consider his AEW run a flop

I know a most of the "fumbled" stuff on here is nothing but trolling but there is a large contingency of e-drones that actually are retarded and believe stuff like that. I know a guy who says shit like "Pentagon was completely wasted by AEW, WWE instantly turned him in to a mega star" when his booking in both companies are essentially exactly the same.

The only person I think AEW actually fumbled was Ethan Page.

No it isn't. Tony has no fucking clue how to manage talent. That isn't a meme or a joke or something said to be funny. It's something said to make fun of him and AEW because it's glaringly and factually true. If it wasn't why did Cody leave? Why did Jade run from every offer he tried to make her the first chance she had? Why didn't Blake Monroe re-sign? Why was Ricky dead set on leaving with years still on his deal? Why was Ethan Page walk away when his contract was up? If AEW was an actually well-run organization where people were happy to be then Tony wouldn't need to rely on money as his only negotiating tactic

Vince. Vince fucked up with these two. Swerve was on the main roster for all of one or two weeks before Vince cut him. Hit Row wasn't great by any means but it was a decent vehicle to prop him up in NXT while he was growing. Vince was more worried about Top Dolla though. Toni was made out to matter in NXT UK and NXT. She had that nice moment at the first Evolution ppv. Once she made it to the main roster though the wheels fell off and the shit that went down did
