I never looked at it that way. I thought your sentence was gonna end with "and they fuck him or her over because they weren't supposed to get popular" after the sentence started with "Undercard wrestler gets grassroots support and WWE notices"
Funny thing is the last time an "undercard" guy main-evented was Bryan.
AJ never main-evented while champ. Seth never ever main events major pay per views. And too many other wrestlers in the company who had the "supposed" main belt never main-evented before.
