The never ending Andrade feud that started for no reason and continued for no reason, and both of them just came off as shoot sociopaths with no real personality, and ended with Brandi setting Cody on fire and then he left for the WWE.
It was without fail the worst segement on every episode of AEW TV at that point, which is saying something, because it wasn't at its worst, but it was pretty close, and usually the longest too.

Before the infamous "ends racism match" there was a weigh in like a shoot boxing match because Ogogo used to be a boxer, but the issue is that Big Show couldn't figure out how to use a manual scale which killed the hype for the match and made the segment awkward. Combined with fact there wasn't any physicality like a real weigh in would have which defeats defeats the point having a weigh in. It also was a non title match btw.

I truly believe Cody could had been one of the greatest heels in wrestling history but his ego just wouldn't allow him to do it. All he had to do was lean into doing face promos but heel actions and he would had been set as a top tier heel. Then if he had done that for a couple years he could turn into a face and gotten exactly what he wanted.

I think Kenny's initial idea wasn't bad. The idea that Kenny lacked the spirit in AEW that he had in NJPW and isn't sure what's wrong with him. The problem is early AEW lacked star power. Jericho was their top heel and Cody locked himself out of the title picture so all you had left was Kenny and Mox. If Cody wouldn't have locked himself out AEW could've kept Cody in the main event scene and let Kenny build on whatever story he was wanting to tell.
