[Real talk] Foid wrestlers owe their fans

No.19278463 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
Allow me to explain my viewpoint.

Some f*id wrestlers such as Thea Hail achieve popularity using a very specific gimmick. They tailor their image so they seem very attainable and relatable. They gain a lot of fans, and thus money, from this.

There are requirements to maintaining this image, however. One of them is not acting in an extremely promiscuous way. How is it believable that xhe can be the innocent "girl next door" type when she is going to parties and practicing extremely risky behavior? Personally, it breaks the immersion completely for me. All of the appeal that first might drive someone to become a fan of xir is gone.

I feel betrayal and anger. Do you understand? Is this relatable? Xhe pulled a trick on all of her fans, taking their money while being a total slut in her real life.

If I ever met her in real life I think I would enjoy the encounter. I don't think she would feel very much the same, however. I bench 405 and I'm a jewjitsu purple belt... needless to say, I believe that night she would be getting a small amount of "revenge" on behalf of all xer fans she has duped.

Do you agree?
