I realized this a few years back when AJ was doing a modest promotional run on minor podcasts for her book about being depressed and irritated. I can't believe this marriage has survived and I genuinely commend them for managing it, but yeah they're both retarded.

AJ looks visibly distressed during this brief part of Stephanie's 'Babbling about Ass' podcast. She's hyperventilating and sniffling like a cokehead throughout. I feel bad for her and don't intend to be too harsh. She obviously isn't speaking with much confidence. She blurts out statistical figures that give an air of legitimacy to what she's saying, but what she's saying is that human beings are differentiated by "cultures" (you have to use that word) and she implies that the members of different cultures are both naturally "biased" towards their own and lack the "culture competence" to effectively communicate with those of other cultures. I doubt she realizes it, but this line of thought cannot but conclude in a commitment to ethnonationalism since coexistence would be impossible. She then blitzes through a series of imaginary examples where culturally ignorant white doctors make hasty misdiagnoses of conditions that afflict POC. Finally, she claims that "it's sort of a miracle to even get into therapy in the first place" because Stephanie and her ice cream cake cohost made her feel comfortable enough to queef out of her mouth like that. She sounds like Twitter before the general public began to ignore Twitter, but I can tell she means well and she doesn't strike me as the type who's gonna emerge as an influential demagogue leading an uprising, so let her be retarded.
