>>19350271A British wrestling blogger who ran the internet's biggest/only Juvi Guerrera fan site saw an opportunity in the market after ECW and WCW collapsed to run supershows in the UK. He was 16 at the time and had no money, so he decided to book the venue and a bunch of Japanese (Toryumon iirc) guys on credit cards. Jimmy Hart, as is his superpower, smelled money mark from across the pond and immediately got in touch with our hero, convincing him that what this British indie workrate show needed was Stevie Ray, Horace Hogan and Sonny Onoo, flying first-class and staying in five-star hotels. Then all the still existing British indies (FWA, Hammerlock, think there were a few others around?) took a pound of flesh to book their stars/offer "staging" advice. Then some old Brit guys (Drew McDonald and the UK Pitbulls if I remember) threatened to beat the shit out of the booker unless he got them on the show. It all ended up collapsing, the show never went ahead and the only person who came out ahead was Jimmy Hart. I'm missing about 300 details (the booker may have gone to prison for fraud?), but it's been 25 years.
Thankfully, they did get around to putting out an album:
