actually he was. he just didnt seem genuine. always seemed like a pretty boy that fell into the spot but never seemed to fit. sure he would cuss and try to be edgy, but it never worked and it was always obvious he was a wimpy guy playing a part because when he was in the wwf he got bullied

Give credit where it's due. ECW created the Attitude Era and helped Vince crush Ted Turner. Vince even helped ECW financially, so it wasn't like Tony who has infinite wealth but still fucks over other wrestling feds.

Douglas was pretty much a discount HHH who bitched almost as much as Bret does, but the dumping of the NWA title was great. That belt was in a bad spot as it was but doing that pretty much buried it never to be heard of again for a decade till TNA started using it.
