If Amazon buys WBD, then everything continues as usual. If Comcast buys WBD, it would be expected that AEW gets fucking shitkicked off WBD, which may or may not come with some kind of severance payment - up to and including the entire amount left on their 3 year deal as if the day a Comcast-WBD deal closes (mid-late 2026).
That's the argument. You can argue whether that argument is wrong or right, but you're a stupid shithead if you think it has anything to do with "power and influence" rather than contractual obligations that would bind Comcast, or Paramount, or another entity from promoting a wrestling or combat sports entity not owned/operated by TKO.
