Priest was supposed to have the same babyface reaction Rhea gets. The problem is he has way more competition in his division and fans actually rooted for Finn and co. more and felt they were getting the shaft by Priest just constantly winning when they wanted Judgement Day to continue being built up.

Preist is a great example of modern guys being absolutely mid . It’s like 95 percent of any roster right now is insanely mid, it doesn’t matter which company.

I just caught a short Karrion Kross interview and he mentioned something to ends of that someone returning backstage was the one that axed the plans for his match with Roman (which was hinted to at one segment) and Drews babby face run at the time (one of the ideas floated for the Roman match was a 3 way Roman Drew and Kross)
and it seemed like someone had a big issue with him having his wife as a valet, whom they also never booked to wrestle after that one tit surgery and were stupidly vague about her status when they threw that contract offer at Kross...

I remember this interview Punkster had talking about the monkey's paw of how people are paid nowadays. Wrestlers back then were paid less and they had to work hard and earned whatever money they earned from ticket sales. Now, thr pay is salaried and because of that, people lose ambition to try hard and even work to be better.

The ambition wrestlers had in the older days is gone because people have it easy now.
