He hasn't been proven to do anything that the girls' own parents didn't sign off on, it was for things that were legal and culturally acceptable in Japan (distasteful as they were, I'm not defending that shit), and most women who have worked with him seem to adore him (the exceptions like Aja tend to be business related and not sexual).
I think Kenny was just capitalizing on the fact that we really do look down on that shit outside Japan (again, rightfully so). But every culture has things that make people outside it say, "wtf" - when bad things are normalized it's hard to see what's wrong with them until you've stepped away from their normalization for a time, if that makes sense.
