He was already pushing 40 by the time he hit the main roster and COVID almost killed him because of his weight.
He wasn't even well enough to put over Swerve in AEW after their tag team was broken up, and in retrospect that was really the biggest feud he could have had in his career before the wheels inevitably fell off. Was never going to be much in WWE, just bad timing altogether. I'll forever remember him for the segment where Rick Ross called him a big motherfucker on live TV though

I wouldn't be surprised. He lied about WWE not covering his medical bills, and that actually elicited a response from WWE themselves. Think about it, for decades, the company has let literally every single ex-WWE guy cut as many "fed bad" promos they want, online or in other companies, but this was maybe the only time they got in front of a situation and called a guy out for being full of shit. That's gotta get you some sorta heat, and I know that was after he got let go, but makes me think he's the type of guy who'd do dumb shit while he was there as well.

Exactly. His AEW run enforces that for me. Looks like shit most of the time, and conviently gets injured right before he's supposed to put over his tag partner? Say what you want about Swerve, he seems mostly professional, but he's barely mentioned Lee since they broke up.
