It’s not their fault. And sure, you can say it sucks that’s the reality, but that doesn’t change the reality.
Of all the typical GOAT’s, the only one who wasn’t great at (or at least known for) their mic skills was probably Taker. Otherwise… Hogan, Rock, Stone Cold, Cena, Flair, hell even a guy like Bray Wyatt…all these guys are top tier because they could cut promos.
Speaking is a primary part of the job. I love Vaquer, Iyo, Asuka, Myles Borne and all the rest, but being good in the ring and working hard isn’t enough for sustainable success. You’ve GOTTA be able to work the mic (unless, like Taker or Kane, you make not speaking part of your gimmick).
This goes for people who CAN speak English too, btw. There are plenty of native English speakers who can’t cut a promo, lol. And they won’t last either.
It’s just extra hard with ESL talent. And HHH put them in that position.
And by extension, he puts the audience in a position where we have to pretend to tolerate it, asking us to further suspend disbelief in an art form that already pushes that to the limit.
