Punk was rapidly going bankrupt and he didn’t want to wrestle so he tried to back door hustle something. He got a job with Fox to be a contributor to Talking Smack which Fox had the oversight and payroll for. Its ratings were in the shitter and Punk did this big hyperbolic walkout his first night and said everything he does changes the culture and cut a promo like he was in a packed arena. His run on the show was completely forgettable besides him looking like warmed over dogshit and one time they had Bret Hart on the two old grievance collector sucked each other off for a few minutes (neither actually knows each other well enough or they would be bitter enemies, they like each other in theory)
When the ratings didn’t pop and no one gave a fuck that Punk was a talking head a few times on a show no one watch (oh and there was this thing called Covid starting to scare people) Miz robbed Punk a little and said something to the effect of

Or something to that effect. Punk, who was upside down on debt with no prospects besides going back to wrestling which he wasn’t in shape for and hated freaked out and went nuclear and tweeted
