The Dallas territory would have survived if they hadn't rushed the Von Erichs. They would have been a lot more over if they spent their 20s in the midcard getting more seasoning, I don't get why Fritz was in such a hurry

Maybe a bit more seasoning, but they looked the part as manly men from that era at younger ages than what I was thought. David was only 25 when he died and was over as a tough guy to Japan and back. Today we have people like Johnny Gargano near age 40 sorta still doing the youthful babyface underdog gimmick.

I doubt that it would have made much difference if Fritz had waited 10 years to push his sons. There were a lot of outside factors that killed the territories as a whole, and i seriously doubt that one thing would have saved them. Pretty much none of them survived long term. However, the Dallas territory combined with the Memphis territory to form the USWA, which was able to survive longer than the territory system itself. So the Dallas territory actually did kind of survive anyway.

my friends I offer this advice in complete sincerity. You’re responding to an entirely farcical post. OP is sarcastically referring to the fact that the Von Erichs were incredibly over, and anchored an entire territory as teenagers, to lampoon the WWE’s attitude that you can’t give someone a main event push until they are in their late 30s.
