The funny part is that the hope of seeing him on American TV was the only thing that drove AEW for the first couple of years.

Because AEW was his make money run. Kenny left his passion in Japan. He made money for himself and for his boys like the Bucks, Hangman, Nakazawa, and Ospreay so AEW did all he cared about.
