If it was 2019 and they told Omega that is was guaranteed in his contract that he would star in a video game movie adaptation of his favorite video games series ever, that he would actually sign with WWE or was he really so fucking stupid that he all he wanted was to play pretend wrestling with his friends?

Kenny Omega was never gonna be in a SF movie lol. He has no neck, short arms, and doesn't know how to talk to people outside the wrestling dome. Look at what happened with him and Yukes. Look at his promo and interviews. Then look at Cody when he was in AEW - smooth outside interviews, promos, reality shows, game shows, TV friendly look. You gotta be that kind of guy. Even Roman knows how to talk to non-wrestling people. Bucks and all those guys do not know how.
