Cody gets Hollyjew sloppy seconds while Kenny is a front runner for when the actual games need hyping.
Cody needs to have a slew of faces alongside himself to promote the brand effectively while Kenny is able to get the job done alone.

Kenny had the backing of pretty much the whole wrestling comunnity at that point. Casuals are just bandwaggoners so it would've take is to get a loud pop on a Rumble for everyone to get behind him like it did for AJ. Playing his cards right, he could've forced Vincetty's hands weaponizing the fans to easily get to superstardom like Bryan did.
