Exactly, who cares? The guy phoned in his whole retirement tour, which was a stupid idea in the first place, had the most pathetic heel run and is now off to Hollywood for the rest of his life. I bet he's thrilled to be done with gay ass wrestling.
I didn't even bother watching his retirement show by the way, I don't even have anything against him but the whole retirement tour has been a joke, and WWE is just so hard to watch now.

The Cena/Gunther match was great.
AJ gave Taker the best send-off that he could've had, considering he should've retired sooner.
If we're ignoring scant, one-offs post-career, then HBK's retirement match was good. Stone Cold's was good, even if it wasn't as great as the WM17 match with Rock.
The problem is that most guys either just don't know when to hang it up and/or keep coming out of retirement, so they're significantly over-the-hill and their final match sucks. Or you guys are forced into retirement and their final match may not have been the greatest just incidentally.

That's around when I completely checked out. I loved the Big Show, Lesnar, and JBL feuds. I came back in 2013 and found out he was on double digit world title reigns and had gone completely "soft" in terms of character....I never left with the "Never give up" slogan which Vince stuck him with
