Sting won his retirement match because a legend like him does not need to job to two dipshits like the Old Cucks. Plus, similar to Undertaker, he was essentially already retired. Sting didn't wrestle any singles matches at all in his entire AEW run, everything was a tag match because he could barely wrestle at his age. His real retirement was due to injury after that Seth Rollins match in 2015.
