Why they keep pushing the idea that it's about STORIES and promos yet flood the roster with all these Cagematch-tier geeks like her, Vaquer, Jeff Cobb, the MCMGs, etc. who are complete anathema to the product they want.
Most of those are people I wouldn't even sign if I was booking a workrate slop fed like AEW - they were mid at best when I saw them in Japan, Mexico, TNA, wherever they came from, and they're completely useless to a company that wants to beat everyone over the head with the idea that they're engaging narrative television and more than just retards lumbering around doing moves to each other.
