Peak TNA did some really solid ratings. Smackdown doing comparable ratings is nothing to be ashamed of. AEW doing worse than TNA after it was kicked off Spike TV and exiled to Destination America, however, is something to be extremely ashamed of.

It is interesting looking back. But obviously everything has changed. WWE doing a million now is 5 million 15 years ago. Dynamite would be doing 3 million 15 years ago. That's why ratings talk is just annoying now. I wish everything was on streaming so people had nothing to talk about but the quality of the shows

Nielsen have changed the way the determine their ratings, so comparisons are pointless. That's before you even get to the changes in television since then.

TNA's numbers back then weren't good. And that's just TV. Their PPV numbers weren't even AEW-level. Their attendance figures were pathetic. TNA never drew a dime, frankly.

Consider that WWE are making money hand over fist and their last PPV had 45,000 people in attendance, and then ask yourself whether or not there is a reason that their TV ratings are low compared to 15 years ago. Maybe things have changed in television in that time or something.
