He killed Owen Hart, and years later he would kill again. The custody of Dominik angle spiralled Rey back into his murderous psychosis. He murdered Eddie.
It was Chris Benoit, so stricken by grief, who uncovered all of this. He called Chavo and told him everything. Chavo was the wrong person to confide in. The business came before everything and at that time Chavo and Regal were McMahon's fixers. Vince told them Chris needed to go. Vince, among others, had known about Owen and Eddie and had helped cover it up. Chavo went and Regal sent his buddy/stooge Dave Taylor in his place. Things got out of hand quickly. They called in their old boss from WCW, Kevin Sullivan, knowing he was no stranger to dirty work.
Sullivan wanted to go with the Satanic ritual killing angle, and that's how they proceeded for the first couple of days, but eventually Dave Taylor managed to convince him that they should go with the family annihilator gimmick instead. And the rest is history.
Rey doesn't remeber killing Owen or Eddie. Rumor has it Perro Aguayo Jr. said something about fucking Rey's wife before his last match.
